Overview
These Terms govern your use of The Self-Sufficient Homestead website and your purchase and use of our digital products. By using the store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Return and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the store.

Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. Information you provide at checkout must be accurate and current. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any account credentials.

Digital products and delivery
The Ultimate Self-Sufficient Homestead Handbook is sold as a digital PDF; no physical book is shipped. After successful payment, access is delivered electronically through Shopify's Digital Products service. Delivery may be delayed by payment review, connectivity, or technical issues. Contact us through the store contact form if access does not arrive.

Personal-use licence
Your purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use one copy for your personal or household use. You may not resell, share, publish, upload, distribute, reproduce for others, or commercially exploit the PDF or its contents. All intellectual-property rights remain with the rights holder.

Educational and safety disclaimer
The handbook provides general educational information, not personalised agricultural, veterinary, medical, legal, engineering, building, food-safety, or financial advice. Homesteading activities may involve tools, animals, structures, fire, machinery, chemicals, allergens, food preservation, and other risks. Assess your own circumstances, follow product instructions and local laws, use appropriate protective equipment, and consult qualified professionals where needed. Results vary according to location, climate, resources, experience, and other factors; no specific outcome or level of self-sufficiency is guaranteed.

Orders, prices, and payment
Prices and availability may change without notice. The price shown at checkout is the price charged, plus any applicable taxes. We may decline or cancel an order for suspected fraud, pricing errors, unlawful activity, or inability to supply the product; any captured payment for a cancelled order will be refunded.

Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy, including the voluntary 7-day digital product guarantee. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

Acceptable use
You may not misuse the store, interfere with its operation or security, introduce malicious code, scrape it in violation of applicable law, impersonate others, infringe intellectual-property rights, or use the services for unlawful purposes.

Third-party services and privacy
Shopify and other service providers process transactions and help operate the store. Their services may be governed by separate terms. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the store and digital product are provided as available and without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the store or handbook. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer protections.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where our business is established, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their place of residence.
